setenv — Change or add an environment variable

Synopsis

`boolean setenv (`	string `variable` ,
	string `value` ,
	boolean `overwrite` `)`;

Parameters

string value
boolean overwrite

Return

boolean

Description

The setenv() function adds the variable to the environment with the value. If variable exist the value is changed.

Usage

  setenv("PATH", "/home/user", true)
